During this unit, I have been trying to implement projects to create a curriculum that is rigorous and relevant to my students.  Our first project during 7.RP was on “Ratios, Proportions, & Scale” and our second project is on “Percents” with a focus on converting fractions, decimals, and percents.

In this project, the students will poll a minimum of 25 people, organize the data based upon fractions, decimals, and percents, create a hypothesis, and organize the data and their findings in a poster and one-page summary.  My students are almost finished with this project, so I am looking forward to seeing the results!
